The UEFA EURO 2024 will begin on June 14, 2024 in Munich's Football Arena. The EURO 2024 will take place in 10 stadiums in Germany in the summer, making Germany the host for the second time after 1988. The 17th edition of the UEFA EURO 2024 is the biggest European soccer tournament and for many Germans it is called to be the second summer fairytale after being the World Cup host in 2006. The tournament will run for 30 days until two teams will meet in the final at Berlin's Olympic Stadium on July 14, 2024.

The private broadcaster RTL has exclusively secured 12 EURO 2024 matches in Germany on Free-TV. You almost won't miss any match of the European football championship on TV! In addition to some group matches, two round of 16 matches and one quarter-final of the EURO 2024 will also be broadcast on RTL. But that's not all: from June 15, the channel will be showing the new format "Das RTL EM-Studio - Alle Spiele, Tore, Emotionen" every day at 8:15 pm to accompany the soccer euphoria in the country. Elton, Jan Köppen and Mitja Lafere will present all the highlights and analysis of the tournament.
Germany at the EURO 2024
A total of 24 countries will be taking part in the 2024 European football championship alongside host Germany. National coach Julian Nagelsmann announced the DFB squad for the EURO 2024 in March 2024. He was allowed to take 23 players with him, including top stars such as Thomas Müller, Manuel Neuer and Toni Kroos. Six newcomers, on the other hand, are looking forward to their first EURO: Aleksandar Pavlovic, Waldemar Anton, Maximilian Mittelstädt, Deniz Undav, Jan-Niklas Beste and Maximilian Beier are taking part for the first time. In Group A, the German national team will face Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland. The first match, and also the opening match of the EURO 2024, will be played between Germany and Hungary on June 14 at 9:00 p.m. in the Munich Football Arena.

The groups for the EURO 2024 in Germany were drawn at the beginning of December 2023 in Hamburg. 24 national teams will play in six groups for the trophy. Kick-offs are being held throughout Germany and all stadiums of the Bundesliga clubs are ready to play. The host cities include Munich, Berlin, Hamburg, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt am Main, Gelsenkirchen, Cologne, Leipzig and Stuttgart. From the south to the north, Germany will be on show for every football tourist. The opening match will take place in Munich's Football Stadium and the final in Berlin's Olympic Stadium. The EURO 2024 matches will be broadcast live on TV channels ARD, ZDF and RTL. 34 matches will be broadcast by the public broadcasters, while RTL has secured 12 matches.
