Where do I get Zattoo Free?
Directly on zattoo.com — go to the Zattoo Free page, create a free account, and you can start streaming right away in your browser. For your TV, tablet, or smartphone, download the Zattoo app from the App Store, Google Play, or your device's app store, and sign in with the same account.
Do I need to create an account to use Zattoo Free?
Yes. A free account (just an email address) is required to start streaming — this syncs your channel list and streaming time across all your devices.
Do I need to provide my credit card details?
No — Zattoo Free itself never asks for payment details, since it's a permanently free offer, not a trial. Payment details are only requested if you actively choose to upgrade to Zattoo Premium, which includes a 30-day free trial before the CHF 14/month fee begins so you can cancel any time before the trial ends to avoid being charged.
How many TV channels are included in Zattoo Free?

Which channels are NOT included in Zattoo Free?
All channels from the ProSiebenSat.1 and RTL Group (e.g. ProSieben, RTL, Sat.1, VOX) are not included in the free offer. You'll need at least a Zattoo Premium subscription for those.
Which devices can I use with Free?
Zattoo Free works in your browser on your laptop/computer, and via the Zattoo app on smartphone and tablet (iOS/Android). It's also available on smart devices such as Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV (Box & Stick), Samsung Smart TV, Panasonic Smart TV, and Xbox One.
What happens when my streaming allowance on smart TVs or streaming devices runs out?
Zattoo Free includes a monthly streaming allowance of 10 hours that applies only to use on smart TVs and streaming devices. It resets in full at the start of each calendar month. If your allowance runs out before the reset, streaming pauses on that smart TV or streaming device — or you can upgrade to a paid plan at any time for immediate unlimited streaming. Usage in your web browser and in the iOS and Android apps is never subject to this limit.
Is Zattoo Free really free forever, or just a trial?
It's a permanently free offer, not a time-limited trial — you can keep using it indefinitely within the channel and allowance limits above. This is different from Premium, which is a 30-day free trial that then converts to a paid subscription.
Can I upgrade to Zattoo Premium at any time, and what do I get in addition?
