400+ channels and a lot of room for your content

Today, more than 400 channels are available on the platform, all ready for adaptive bitrate streaming in SD and HD. More channels can be added with short notice - whether we fetch them from satellite, or the partner sends them via IP to our backend. We also support Pay TV packages and can integrate various VOD services.

The right streaming-formats for all devices all secure

We encode and transcode live TV signals into ~30 streaming profiles that ensure great performance on a large number of devices and for various use cases and levels of bandwith available. We support HDS, HLS, and Smooth Streaming; new formats such as DASH will be available. All streams are secured and we suüpport Hollywood approved DRM systems such as Microsoft PlayReady.

For most of our existing B2B customers, we replaced OTT (CDN) distribution and leverage direct network peerings that allow for a managed quality disribution of the TV / VOD streams. This is what we call Unicast IPTV. However, there are use cases where an OTT distribution via market leading CDN operators is a compelling alternative. We are fully flexible to support either option as well as a well defined mix of both, depending on the individual use cases and needs of our B2B customers. Whichever setup you choose, Zattoo finds the best way to bring the content to your users with a maximum of quality and reliability.
