A wolf called Zabivaka beat a tiger and cat to become the World Cup mascot. Zabivaka means "the one who scores". The official wolf mascot wears the Russian national colours and sunglasses. The official World Cup logo is inspired by world famous Russian artistic traditions, takes the shape of the trophy and bears the national colours. The "magic ball" crowning the emblem represents magic and dreams. This year’s World Cup song "Colors" is by US singer and songwriter Jason Derulo.
