Quality Assurance Engineer (Web TV)

The Role
We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer, who is passionate about researching a product and designing the test cases with ensuring highest test coverage.
The Web TV Team
Zattoo’s Web TV team builds applications beyond usual desktop/mobile browsers to a vast range of big screen platforms like Samsung, Panasonic and LG smart TVs and set-top boxes. We are also maintaining existing over 30 tenants across those platforms.
What You'll Do
Review requirements, provide estimates and create comprehensive test plans and cases based on business requirements
Creatively suggest a test approach for testing non trivial features in the TV domain (like functionality of remote control buttons and pointer)
Perform manual testing, report and track found defects
Collaborate with Software Engineers in Test to increase coverage of automated tests and reduce manual work
Prepare test reports to evaluate state of product’s quality
What You'll Bring
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing or business analysis
Fluent in verbal and written English
Experience with video streaming, Smart TVs, STB or other Big screen testing.
Bonus: Experience in creating automated tests, preferably using JS / Cypress or JS/ Suitest.
Bonus: Experience in web development.
Bonus: Experience with performance or security test automation.
