With roughly 3 million active users every month the data we collect from them allows for efficient and precise business processes and data-based decision making.
We want to build day-to-day business decisions more on hard facts and less on gut feeling. Therefore we are searching for a passionate Big Data Engineer (f/m/x) to join our motivated and growing data team. You will be shaping the big data architecture in this company and building data components that change how data is leveraged in this company!

Zattoo operates in both the DtC and B2B space and combined with a TV streaming product, it is a dream company for a data professional to get maximum value out of data and learn new things everyday! We are building a scalable architecture with the newest tools, technologies and methodologies to leverage our big data (we process 6TB daily!)
Collaborate with our product owners to understand their needs to generate insights from data
Identify and improve KPIs that are most relevant for driving product decisions and understanding what users do in our applications
Design dashboards that are tuned for decision making and insights
Conduct trainings for POs to understand our data and dashboards
Own and Improve our product data models and documentation
Design A/B tests and interpret the results for product decisions
Collaborate closely with our data engineers and engineering teams to ensure data quality and consistency
Master’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business or Statistics
4+ years experience as a data analyst (with a product focus) in a digital or tech company, analyzing large amounts of data
Obsession to understand end users and what they do in our products with data
Good understanding of statistics and the ability to translate results of analyses into insights
Strong SQL skills. Python skills are a plus.
Experience working with both product analytics data tool and general data visualization tools (we use Indicative and Tableau)
Strong communication and collaboration skills with data stakeholders and Data Engineers
