On our way to conquer the rest of Europe we’re putting in a stop in the land of gravlaks, lingonberries, geitost, akvavit, and pickled herring. (Just to get something straight here: no, we do not choose launch countries by their culinary offering. Not that I would mind. For sushi it would be Japan, for lemon meringue pie the US, the Jewish Diaspora for matzah ball soup …) .
Now that all the tourists are gone and darkness is descending for the next few months, our Norwegian friends need an additional distraction. It's bad enough to be stuck in front of the computer with work, emails etc., and not to be able to catch up on your favorite show or a major sports event. What if night also reigns for most of the day? That sucks. That’s just plain unfunny. Die Qualität ist durchaus gut. Auf jeden Fall, wenn man den kostenlos Faktor mit in Betracht zieht.
Dette er bra saker. Håper sterkt at me kan få same utval av sendere som t.d. Danmark. Ser just nå at tilbudet til Danmark er redusert i forhold til det eg såg sist. Trur at det er ser av kanaler er avhengig av landet eg tar forespørsel frå. Ganske sikker at Danmark har meir.

In norway we have to pay over 3000kr/year (approx 550USD) to NRK if we have a telly. Even if we dont watch their programs!
Of course i threw out my tv a loooong time ago, bought a projector, connected it to my dvd-player and computer, and watch only what i want to watch, when i want to watch.. and dont have to pay s**t for it! :)
So now i can watch NRK for free!
HAH! In their face!!
I knew it would be possible to get all i need of tv over internet soon.

@Paal: Currently, no, as we don't have the rights to transmit them in Switzerland. I've handed your request over to our content acquisition guys, so that they can add it to the channel wishlist.
And finally @BuildMaster Bob: nope. Zattoo comes from Japanese and means "big crowd of people". Which is what we're aspiring towards in terms or our users ... ;-)
