Welcome to the new Zattoo Player!

Here’s how to get started with the new features:

User channel ordering

The new Player allows you to personalize your channel list by setting up self-defined groups and by reordering the channels according to your wishes.

a) Add groups

The first time you use the new Player, you’ll see a list of available channels.

You can create further groups in the Channel Manager:

Go to „View“ – „Manage Channels …“ or access the Channel Manager from the icon at the bottom of the channel list.

In order to create a new group, click on „+“ at the bottom of the left column and name the group.

Click on „Available Channels“ and drag all the channels that you want to add to this group into this new group.

Click on „OK“.

Good to know:

• Channels can be allocated to several groups.

• You will always see all available channels at the bottom of your channel list in „Available Channels“.

• When new channels become available, they will appear in a „New Channels“ group at the top of the channel window.

• The Channel Manager contains an „Optional Channels“ group with channels that are not listed in the „Available Channels“ group. These are channels that are available to users, but not included by default; The user must drag and drop these channels into another group to make them available in the list.

• Groups can be collapsed by clicking on the arrow to the left.

b) Reorganize your channel list

To change the order of your channels within a group, open the Channel Manager and select the group in which you want to reorder the channels. Drag and drop the channels to their new position.

Teletext

Some channels carry Teletext information. To view the Teletext, click on a channel, then go to „View“, „View Teletext“. A browser window with the Teletext information will open. If „View Teletext“ is inactive, there is no Teletext information available for this channel.
