Do you really know what’s going on with your money? Are you sure it’s parked in the right place? And how is the company that you’re working for REALLY doing? Find out by watching Bloomberg TV – now available in French on Zattoo. Get the latest in business and financial news, 24 hours a day.
Or are you looking for a new car to spend that money on that you don’t have? Before you make a decision, tune in to AutoMoto TV. AutoMoto TV brings you test reports 24/7, interviews with experts and representatives of the automobile industry, and specials from the world of luxury cars and tuning. It’s ok to dream of that hot toy on wheels before going off to buy the choice of your wife reason.
Finally, if you need a dose of world news in French every now and then, the French version of France 24 (replacing the English version) is now available for you.
Zattoo – TV forever, wherever.

Nice :D, great.
A quick question, how come that free non profit channels (like één) that are broadcasted by the Belgian government aren't added to the list of channels? (Don't know about the French part of Belgium, talking about the Flemish part).
Anyway thx for the great work you guys are doing. I'm 1/4th channel ready to switch from regular tv to zattoo.

@The Flemish people
Ik ben ook een Vlaming, voor de duidelijkheid ;). Maybe it is better that we speak English here, because Zattoo is an American/Swiss company, so they don't understand our Dutch comments. They can't do anything with our critics, because they don't understand them.
But I would be glad if broadcasters such as Eén, Canvas, vtm, 2BE ... would be viewable in Zattoo. However, VT4 and VIJFtv are also good tv-stations.

@vanessa: being in France, you can see French channels or international ones with the rights to be visible in France. It is not the case of Belgian channels (French or Flemish speaking ones) which are not visible in France for rights reasons. We are working towards adding more channels anyway...
@bes: internet has no national frontiers - RIGHT. TV channels have national frontiers for the content rights related to the programs. If we do not respect the territorial rights, the industry would suffer and us with it. We hope more and more channels to broadcsat multi countries to be able to fit the rights with internet openness...

On 31 March 2008 Helen said:
@Nopie: You'll get a different channel lineup in Germany than in Belgium because for most channels we only receive the rights to retransmit for a single country. So no Belgian channels in Germany for now ...

Thanks for this great service! Being one of the few online TV providers for Linux users as well, you really deserve a big thanks!
Requests from Dutch/Flemish speaking Belgians:
- EEN + Canvas (public,state-owned channels)
- VMMa: with channels such as VTM, 2BE, JIM, ...
- TMF music channel (already broadcasted on other services)
- BBC World, BBC one/two/... (probably impossible due to rights and iplayer)
- CNN, Eurosport, RTL-TVi ... (same as above)
If you have deals with SBS (for VT4 and VijfTV) wouldn't it be possible then to add the other foreign channels as well. I heard Patrick Tillieux (COO of SBS ProSiebenSat1) talking about it in a lecture.
I don't know how it works with all these rights, probably due to commercials and ads being broadcasted abroad, but if it works on common TV, we should get the deals online as well!
Anyways, you're doing a great job! iTV is the future! Zattoo rocks!

I just discovered Zattoo and I'm absolutely thrilled at how handy it is. It's fast and the image quality is quite good. Two thumbs up!
I'm a Belgian user and I do have some requests for extra channels. As you know, Belgium is partially Dutch-speaking and partially French-speaking. I think the French-speaking part of the Belgian Zattoo users would greatly appreciate the addition of French (as in "from France") channels (which we also get over regular cable).
These channels are:
France 2
France 3
TF1 (I know not all areas in Belgium get this channel)
and M6 (ideally. It's possibly the hardest channel to get but it's also the most interesting)
Would you consider those?
Thanks a lot and keep up the good work!

why FR2 and FR3 is no more available on Zattoo??
On 10 August 2008 Tim said:
@ olivier
Patrick Tillieux talked about SBS ProSiebenSat1 in a lecture. He said iTV, both internet TV and I Television, was the future as more and more people watch television over the internet and people want to decide when and what they will watch (personalized TV). The core business is free television sponsored by ads. That's not going to change. He said the company should and probably would (heavily) invest in internet TV as especially Belgium is far behind concerning internet TV, and now SBS want to become market leader in this sector (I know, it's business talk). Of course the well-known country limits as to ads, commercials, etc still need to be dealt with., but they were working on it as we speak. An example Tillieux gave: future TV shows will be designed in let's say Germany, the cheap audience will be Romanian (and be flown over to other destinations), the editors, ... will be Czech, and the show will be broadcasted over the entire SBS region.
So that implies SBS may be interested in broadcasting foreign channels as well, the ads ,however, are still limited to the country's border. But that shouldn't be a huge problem as people are allowed to watch foreign channels and ads over regular cable too.
This is briefly what I remember from the lecture.

@Visitor:
Bonjour,
